About Claws and EffectHi there!
My name is Sarah, and this little lad is Hamish and together we are Claws and Effect… however I seem to be the one that does most of the work.
We offer force free dog training, agility training and pet sitting services for all animals from hamsters to horses (apart from constrictors, poisonous exotics and spiders). I have experience and qualifications with dogs, cats, small pets, farm animals, equines and exotics. We never stop learning so to add to my experience and training I chose to train with the IMDT (the institute of modern dog trainers) who only use positive, effective, science-based training techniques. I also have completed a dog first aid course with animal love to help towards keeping all our pooches safe.Previously I have worked and volunteered with equines for many years including the Riding for the Disabled Association and The Donkey Sanctuary where I have spent many years working with vulnerable children and adults, people with mental health needs, additional needs and differently abled clients teaching and coaching equine care and life skill improvements.
References"Sarah's puppy classes were well organised and resourced but what I liked the best was Sarah's thoughtful approach. Whilst Sarah is very knowledgeable, she always went above and beyond to research anything she was asked about so that she could then give you even better advice.
Lovely small classes which were well paced." - Becky“Sarah took care of our hamster at the weekend. She did a great job keeping us updated and checking food and water. She even watered my garden!
Thanks a bunch!" -Chloe (5*)"We really enjoyed Sarah's classes. She went over and above to answer our questions and help with anything. We learned lots of useful tips and tools that we can use on a daily basis with our puppy."- TashCheck out our other reviews on our Facebook page!
